ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Linda started her career in nursing and she nursed for almost 15 years until a serious accident resulted in spinal and other injuries. It was during her recovery Linda was introduced to Pilates and after almost 3 years recovering she resumed study and began working in the Disability sector and held senior positions until moving to Goolwa with her partner in 2019.

Since her accident over 25 years ago she has continued to practice Pilates on a weekly basis and attributes the combination of Physiotherapy and Pilates to the success of her recovery. "It was through my own injury that I developed a passion to help people who have musculo-skeletal injuries or conditions that piqued my interest in rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal injuries and pain management and that led me to clinical pilates. From there, I furthered my training and one of the best things is how clinical pilates is suited to everyone, regardless of age, fitness level or body type".

Linda holds tertiary and vocational qualifications in business, counselling, Pilates Mat and Reformer work including as a Certified Instructor of Clinical Pilates Equipment with the Australia Physiotherapy & Pilates institute (APPI).

Linda is also a certified Menopause
Practitioner and weight loss coach. She also runs a life coaching business helping women.  More information on the full scope of services can be found at:  www.connectlifestylesolutions.com.au

Outside of Pilates and helping her partner run their marine chandlery, Linda enjoys gardening, cycling, sailing and stained glass mosiacs.

"One of my greatest passions is empowering people to understand their bodies, move with confidence, and stay active for life."
